Simplifying Affordable Resources for Faculty
April 4, 2018 2:00 PM CST
Providing access to free or affordable course materials helps student persistence. But navigating the wide world of OER, Open textbooks, multi-user eTextbooks, and more can be difficult for faculty, and libraries have to be creative in marketing these resources. Join Monroe Library librarians to hear how they're encouraging faculty to adopt affordable course materials.
Presented by Laurie Phillips and Elizabeth Kelly, Loyola University New Orleans
Learning with LOUIS (LwL) is a teaching, learning, and sharing video series. Webinars are offered monthly (with a few exceptions), and most often feature presentations from our consortium members, partnering vendors, and other invited guests. The topics range from current library technology and systems, electronic resources, new library services and trends, and more.
The video series has been expanded to now include a video tutorial library! We are currently working to develop the tutorials and will publish them as they become available.
LOUIS wants to ensure that its members, at all levels, remain connected to each other. The best way to do so is to share our experiences, learn from each other, and grow together.
You can register for our next webinar by clicking the "Register" button. It only takes a few, simple clicks!
