About Mark

Mark Witteman joined LOUIS in 2011. Since that time he has assumed primary responsibility for the configuration and maintenance of the SirsiDynix Symphony system. Mark has worked in library technology since 1994. Mark was a Team Leader and Senior Technical Adviser at Sirsi and SirsiDynix from 1999 through 2009, and later installed and serviced RFID hardware and software in libraries for Bibliotheca. Mark has a Master of Library and Information Studies from the University of California, Berkeley and baccalaureate degrees in history and geography from the University of Oregon.

When he’s away from the office, Mark enjoys playing disc golf and the banjo. He also bakes cakes or other sweets for LOUIS staff birthdays.
